Yellow sticky fly traps help control greenhouse pests such as whitefly, thrips, leaf miners, fungus gnat (sciarid fly) and greenfly. Their bright yellow surface attracts adult insects, keeping them away from fruit and vegetables as well as ornamental plants.

Yellow Sticky Traps For Sciarid Fly Fungus Gnat Control

Sciarid fly is a common problem in greenhouses and houseplants. Yellow sticky traps capture the adult flies before they lay eggs in the compost. For severe problems, sciarid fly nematodes can also be used alongside traps for extra control.

Yellow Fly Sticky Traps With Double Sided Design

The traps are double sided, giving twice the catching surface without taking up more space. This design ensures more insects are caught on each trap, making them efficient for use in greenhouses and conservatories.

Sticky Yellow Fly Traps For Conservatories And Homes

Sticky yellow fly traps are also useful indoors where small flying insects can gather around plants. Their glue remains effective for long periods, helping maintain control without frequent replacement.

Size Of Yellow Sticky Trap For Insect Control

Each trap measures H22cm x W10cm. The size provides a large catching area that makes it easy to capture pests and keep them away from plants.

Can Yellow Sticky Traps Be Reused

Yellow sticky traps cannot be reused once they are covered with insects. Replace them with fresh traps when the surface is full or dusty.

Can Yellow Sticky Traps Be Used Around Edible Plants

Yes, they can be used near fruit, vegetables and herbs because they trap insects rather than using chemicals.

Do Yellow Sticky Fly Traps Attract Beneficial Insects

They mostly attract pests such as whitefly, greenfly, thrips and fungus gnats, not pollinators like bees.

Where Should Yellow Sticky Traps Be Placed

They should be positioned close to plants in the greenhouse or conservatory, ideally just above the leaves.

Are Yellow Sticky Traps Safe For Indoor Use

Yes, sticky yellow fly traps are safe to use indoors and can help reduce sciarid fly around houseplants.

Can Yellow Sticky Traps Be Used With Biological Controls

Yes, they work well alongside biological controls such as sciarid fly nematodes to reduce pest numbers.
