Solar Powered Automatic Watering System – 50 Dripper Kit

Keep your plants watered automatically with the Gardening Naturally Solar Powered Automatic Watering System – 50 Dripper Kit. Designed to water up to 50 pots, plants or hanging baskets, this solar powered irrigation system delivers water directly to your plants without the need for mains electricity or an outdoor tap.

Featuring two independently controlled watering zones, the system allows you to water different areas of your garden at different times and for different durations. Ideal for patio pots, hanging baskets, grow bags and garden beds, it helps keep your plants watered throughout the growing season and while you're away on holiday.

Benefits of the Solar Powered Automatic Watering System

• Save time watering your plants – Automatically water up to 50 pots, plants or hanging baskets without having to water each one by hand.
• Keep plants watered while you're away – Set up automatic watering cycles to help look after your plants when you're on holiday or away from home.
• No outdoor tap or mains electricity needed – The solar-powered system draws water from a suitable water container, such as a water butt or barrel.
• Water different areas independently – Two separately controlled watering zones let you choose different watering programmes for different groups of plants.
• Choose a watering schedule to suit your plants – Select from six preset programmes, with watering intervals of 24, 48 or 72 hours.
• Deliver water directly to your plants – Position the 50 included drippers near plant roots to direct water where it's needed.
• Avoid having to restart watering cycles manually – Once activated, the system remembers its starting time and automatically repeats the selected programme.
• Help protect the pump when water runs low – The water level sensor automatically switches off the pump when the water supply becomes too low.
• Water a range of garden plants – Suitable for patio pots, hanging baskets, grow bags and garden beds, making it useful for different growing areas.

Dual-Zone Automatic Watering

The 50 Dripper Kit features a dual-pump irrigation unit, allowing you to create two separate watering circuits with their own settings.

For example, you can water hanging baskets in the evening and patio pots at another time. Each zone can operate independently, giving you greater flexibility when managing different plants and growing areas.

Adjustable Watering Programmes

Choose from six automatic watering programmes to suit your plants' watering requirements:

• 1 minute every 24 hours
• 5 minutes every 24 hours
• 2 minutes every 48 hours
• 8 minutes every 48 hours
• 3 minutes every 72 hours
• 12 minutes every 72 hours

Once activated, the system remembers the starting time and repeats the watering cycle according to the selected programme. For best results, the instructions recommend starting the watering cycle at dusk.

Solar Powered with Rechargeable Battery

The irrigation unit features an integrated 2W solar panel and a 3.7V 2000mAh rechargeable lithium battery, allowing it to operate without a mains electricity connection.

Mount the unit on a wall or fence where it receives direct sunlight for much of the day. Before first use, allow the system to charge in direct sunlight for at least 4 hours.

Water Your Plants While You're Away

Connect the watering system to a suitable water container, such as a water butt or barrel, and arrange the included irrigation tubing and drippers around your plants.

Water is drawn from the container and delivered through the tubing to individual watering points. Each dripper stake can be positioned in the soil near the plant roots.

The combined water filter and level switch helps protect the pump by automatically switching it off if the water level becomes too low.

For easier assembly, run the tubing under warm water before connecting it to the irrigation unit, tee connectors and drippers.

Keep the solar panel clean, regularly check the water filter and tubing for blockages, and store the system indoors during winter when not in use.
