Amblyseius cucumeris is a beneficial predatory mite used in biological pest control to manage thrips and other small insect pests. Ideal for greenhouses and gardens, it offers an effective, chemical-free solution for protecting plants.
Effective Pest Control
Targets thrips larvae, including Western Flower thrips and onion thrips
Also supports control of spider mites and soft-bodied pests
Suitable for ornamental plants, vegetables, and fruit crops
Safe for humans, pets, and pollinators such as bees and ladybirds
How It Works
Amblyseius cucumeris actively seeks out thrips larvae, helping to prevent infestations. In the absence of thrips, it can survive on pollen, making it ideal for preventative use on crops such as peppers, cucumbers, strawberries, cyclamen, and bedding plants.
