Wind and sun damage are surprisingly common issues for gardeners. Strong wind can tear off flowers and destroy crops, especially in flat areas. Our green windbreak and shade netting offers protection to crops against both the sun and wind, ensuring you won’t have to spend time clearing up the debris left behind.

What is Windbreak Netting?

Windbreak and shade netting is a mesh netting designed to block wind, dust, and sunlight. It is perfect for preventing damage to your crops by reducing the impact of harsh weather conditions.

Protection & Benefits

This netting reduces both the physical and drying effects of the wind while providing 40% shade. It is ideal for year-round use, protecting plants and seedlings from both sun and wind damage.

Additional Advantages

In addition to crop protection, the netting can also help reduce noise and sound, contributing to a more peaceful garden environment.

Installation Instructions

Step 1: Space the posts approximately 1.2m apart where you wish to place your fence. Roll out the windbreak netting along the posts and ensure it is aligned with the top.

Step 2: Using a hammer or mallet, fix the netting to each post with galvanised staples — a minimum of three per post is recommended.

Step 3: Starting at one end, lift each post into position and hammer into the ground at least 20cm deep. Continue until all posts are secure.
