This “climate positive” peat-free garden compost is a great choice if you’re an eco-minded gardener who grows plants in pots, tubs or hanging baskets where good water retention is crucial.

Why is wool compost a better alternative to traditional compost

Sheep's wool contains a high level of nitrogen that functions as a slow-release fertiliser and has valuable water retention properties. This means your garden plants won’t need watering as often as traditional compost.
This wool compost for garden plants is an alternative to peat garden compost - with a comparable supple texture. Created from 100% renewable resources with an excellent environmental benefit to help you garden and grow your plants more sustainably.

This wool compost also helps to suppress weed growth, deter garden pests such as slugs and snails, and helps regulate plant temperature.
