The Zinnia square plant pot is a lightweight plastic planter for indoor and outdoor use. It comes in white mottled colour or a light brown natural finish, wood effect legs and a removable self-watering reservoir to help manage excess water around the roots.

The removable black insert sits inside the pot and creates a gap between the soil and the base. Water can drain down instead of leaving compost sitting wet at the bottom.

That stored water is then drawn back into the soil as it dries. It helps between watering, especially in warmer spells, but it will not fix poor compost or a pot left full of water.

This planter can be used in the house, conservatory, patio, balcony or garden. The raised legs keep the pot slightly lifted, which is useful on decking, paving or a sideboard.

It is made from UV and frost resistant plastic, so it can stay outside through normal UK seasons. In very exposed spots, placing it somewhere level and not constantly waterlogged is still sensible.

The white and natural colour works with ferns, herbs, bedding plants and small shrubs. It is not a huge planter, so avoid large root-heavy plants that need a deeper container.
