The Horse Chestnut Leaf-Mining Moth is a small moth with caterpillars that feed off the inside of Horse Chestnut leaves, causing brown or white blotch mines to develop between the leaf veins. Active mostly between June to September.

Damage caused by the Horse Chestnut Leaf-Mining Moth is easy to spot, identifiable by white elongated blotches that soon turn brown. The caterpillars or circular pupal cocoons of the mined areas can be seen when held up to the light. These moths reproduce at an astounding rate, with approximately 200-300 eggs typically laid on each leaf from May to August.

This Horse Chestnut Leaf-Mining Moth trap works by using a species-specific pheromone that attracts the male Horse Chestnut Leaf Miner Moths to the trap. They then fall into the water below and become trapped, breaking the moth lifecycle. The trap's entry holes are only big enough for the moths, preventing larger insects and birds from getting caught, as can happen in other standard traps.

Horse Chestnut Leaf Miner Trap comes with 3 lures.

Trap Refill comes with 3 replacement lures.
