Copper Snail & Slug Tape Serrated

Our serrated copper tape for gardens is the perfect deterrent to slugs and snails. The serrated edge of the tape increases the electrical charge making it more effective against these common garden pests.

This self-adhesive copper tape is easy to use and can be applied directly to a dry, clean surface to protect pots, containers, tables, greenhouse staging and cold frames. The product comes in a roll of 5m x 3.5cm, which can be split into 2 x 2.5m lengths. The width of the copper tape is 3.5cm, with a serrated edge of roughly 0.8cm.

To use, simply remove the protective paper and apply the tape in a complete circle around the item to be protected. Trim any branches that may overhang the protected zone or act as a bridge for pests to enter. As the tape is made of copper, it will change colour to a Verdigris colour over time, but this will not affect the performance of the product.

Copper tape is an effective way to repel slugs and snails. They avoid crawling over the copper because it gives them a small electrical shock. If you have a problem with these pests, copper tape is an easy and efficient solution to try.
