Wormery Compost Bin And Worm Farm
Wormery Compost Bin And Worm Farm - Worm Farm 2 Tier is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
A wormery is a compact composting system that turns kitchen waste into nutrient-rich vermicompost using composting worms. It produces two valuable outputs: worm castings, which improve soil structure and plant health, and worm tea, a liquid fertiliser packed with beneficial microbes. This worm farm is perfect for British gardens, allotments, and even small outdoor spaces, making year-round composting simple and efficient.
Wormery UK Compost Bin For Year-Round Composting
This wormery makes recycling kitchen waste simple while enriching soil naturally. It handles food scraps like vegetable peelings, tea bags, coffee grounds, and eggshells. Composting worms break down the material to create crumbly vermicompost and nutrient-packed worm tea, both of which support strong root development and healthy plant growth across all seasons.
Worm Farm Compost Bin For Healthy Soil
Vermicompost produced by this wormery is rich in organic matter and microbes that boost soil fertility. Worm tea acts as a concentrated liquid feed for vegetables, flowers, and houseplants. By using this worm farm, you reduce household waste, keep food out of landfill, and enhance the natural balance of your garden soil.

Instructions
How Often Should I Feed The Wormery?
Small amounts every few days work best, avoiding overfeeding and ensuring healthy decomposition.
Can I Keep The Wormery Indoors?
Yes, it can be kept in kitchens, utility rooms, or sheds, provided temperatures remain stable.
How Do I Use Worm Tea?
Drain via the tap, dilute one part worm tea to ten parts water, and use it as a nutrient feed for plants.
What Should I Do In Winter?
Move the wormery to a shed, greenhouse, or garage to protect worms from freezing conditions.
Do Wormeries Smell Bad?
No, when balanced correctly, they have a mild earthy smell similar to healthy garden soil.
How Many Worms Do I Need To Start?
250g–500g of composting worms is enough for a small household wormery, and they reproduce naturally.
What are the benefits of using a worm blanket?
A worm blanket helps keep your worm farm in the conditions worms naturally prefer. It holds in moisture, supports stable temperatures, and creates a dark, humid layer where worms feel safe to feed and breed near the surface. Using a worm blanket helps keep worms active, healthy, and working efficiently in your compost.
