Stainless Steel Bokashi Composter kit 30L
Stainless Steel Bokashi Composter kit 30L is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
This stainless steel bokashi composter bin is designed for indoor use to support the fermentation of kitchen waste. It uses a bran-based mix known as Bokashi, made with micro-organisms and molasses, to ferment food scraps in an airtight container. This process helps reduce landfill waste while producing a nutrient rich pre compost for your garden.
Bokashi Composter for Cleaner, Odour Controlled Waste Recycling
The bin is airtight to prevent odours and stop fruit fly issues. Fermentation begins once bokashi bran is added with each layer of food waste. The process takes around 2 to 3 weeks, during which time you can regularly drain liquid fertiliser, known as leachate, using the built in stainless steel tap. This can be used diluted on non edible plants.
How to Use a Stainless Steel Bokashi Composter
Add food scraps to the bin and sprinkle bokashi bran on top after each addition. Continue until full, then seal and ferment. The fermented contents can either be buried under soil to support root growth or added to a compost bin for final breakdown. A simple way to manage kitchen waste without smells or complex handling.
